I doubt there is anyone whose family hasn’t been affected by Alzheimer’s or dementia. So we feel this is a good fit for our new community involvement program and are happy to aid the fight against this destructive disease which affects so many.

Sam & Associates Insurance Agency has unveiled a new charity campaign in their recently formed community enrichment program serving the families of greater San Francisco. The Alzheimer’s Association works to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Compassionate community members who wish to assist in their mission to end this devastating disease may now contribute here: http://www.alz.org/norcal/in_my_community_donate.asp#MakeADonation.

The Alzheimer’s Association is the world’s leading voluntary organization in Alzheimer’s and dementia care, support and research, continually fighting to make Alzheimer’s a national priority. As the largest nonprofit funder of research, they are committed to accelerating the progress of new treatments, preventions and ultimately, a cure. The Alzheimer’s Association, Northern California and Northern Nevada Chapter serves hundreds of local families through their 24/7 helpline, one-on-one consultations and 150 support groups. Most services are provided free of charge, utilizing 1000 volunteers in the cause to change the trajectory of the disease through advocacy and public education. Their vision is a world without Alzheimer’s disease.

“I doubt there is anyone whose family hasn’t been affected by Alzheimer’s or dementia,” said Yumi Sam, owner of Sam & Associates Insurance Agency. “So we feel this is a good fit for our new community involvement program and are happy to aid the fight against this destructive disease which affects so many.”

Social media and an email awareness campaign will be used to help the agency’s caring team to spread the word about the campaign for the Alzheimer’s Association. They have also featured the cause in their monthly magazine, Our Hometown, which is delivered to thousands of households in the San Francisco metro area. The electronic Flipbook version of the current issue may be viewed here: http://agencysam.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_41.

Supporting their latest Community Cause has never been easier, as Sam & Associates has pledged to donate $10 to the initiative for each and every referral they receive for an insurance quote, with no purchase necessary. Readers who would like to view the campaign, refer a friend and/or make a personal donation may do so here: http://agencysam.com/Awareness-for-Alzheimer’s-_18_community_cause.

Utilizing its own resources and seeking the help of its vast network of professional and personal contacts, Sam & Associates marches on to ensure customers, friends, family and neighbors are always in good hands. The agency just recently launched their master charity program, promising to choose a new local organization, family or individual every two months to receive support.
