The caring team at Hauser & Lee Insurance Services launches another charity campaign as part of their ongoing community involvement program serving families of San Ramon and Castro Valley. Turning their efforts to fighting hunger and food insecurity by partnering with The Alameda County Community Food Bank, donations from the compassionate community are now being accepted at http://www.accfb.org/donation/.

The Alameda County Community Food Bank has been committed to eradicating hunger in the area for over 30 years. The Food Bank serves as the hub of a multi-pronged collection and distribution network which includes 240 food pantries, soup kitchens, child care centers, senior centers, after-school programs and other organizations, providing a staggering 540,000 meals every week to those in need. Their goal is to ensure that every food insecure child, adult and senior citizen in Alameda County is fed with nutritious meals rich with fresh fruits and vegetables.

“This cause is very dear to my team,” stated Darrell Lee, principal of Hauser & Lee Insurance Services. “We feel both obligated and privileged to help those in our community who are living with the daily struggles of hunger and food insecurity, especially during this wonderful season of giving. We hope the community rallies behind our most vulnerable members with this campaign for the Food Bank.”

It’s Hauser & Lee’s wish to bring greater awareness and support for the Alameda County Food Bank by mobilizing their network of personal and professional contacts to help spread the word about the campaign. The agency’s team has set a fundraising goal of $500 and has pledged to donate $10 for each and every referral they receive for an insurance quote, with no purchase necessary. Readers who would like to have the agency make a donation in their name may recommend friends and family members for a no-obligation quotation at http://www.hauserlee.com/Fighting-Hunger-and-Feeding-Hope_22_community_cause.

The agency has also featured the initiative in their dynamic community magazine, Our Hometown, which is delivered to thousands of households in San Ramon, Castro Valley and surrounding areas every month. The electronic Flipbook version of current and archived issues may be viewed here http://www.hauserlee.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_39.
