We hope people will pitch in with our clothing drive and also...give generously to this remarkable organization. Taking loving care of our most valuable resource – our children – simply must be the cornerstone of building a stronger community.
San Ramon, CA (PRWEB) June 07, 2016
Hauser & Lee Insurance Services has announced a new partnership with Sleep Train Foster Kids as part of an ongoing community enrichment program serving the families of greater San Ramon and Castro Valley, CA. The nonprofit organization seeks to fill the gaps in care for kids in the foster system which may not be able to be provided for on the stipend offered to foster parents. Readers wishing to support this worthy cause may now donate at: http://www.sleeptrainfosterkids.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=cms.home.
Sleep Train Foster Kids is a program of the nonprofit Ticket to Dream Foundation, created in 2008 to make a positive impact on the lives of foster children in need. There are over 60,000 children in the California foster care system, many of whom go to their new foster homes with only the clothes on their backs, having fled from abuse and neglect. While foster parents are given a stipend to cover basic needs, it is often not enough to really provide for all necessities. Children require and deserve seasonally appropriate clothing, well-fitting clothes and shoes, new backpacks and school supplies, not to mention Christmas and birthday presents. Through clothing and monetary donations, Sleep Train strives to fill those gaps, helping to boost kids’ self-esteem and allowing them to fit in with their peers.
“We are honored to do what we can to help Sleep Train Foster Kids and the fantastic work they do in our community,” said Darrell Lee, principal of Hauser & Lee Insurance Services. “We hope people will pitch in with our clothing drive and also open their purse strings to give generously to this remarkable organization. Taking loving care of our most valuable resource – our children – simply must be the cornerstone of building a stronger community.”
Putting their money where their mouth is, Hauser & Lee has promised to donate $10 to Sleep Train for each and every person recommended to the agency for a quote. Anyone willing to help spread the word about this worthy campaign may recommend someone they know for a new insurance evaluation for their auto, home, life, business and more, with no purchase necessary.
