Sandridge Food Corporation® (SFC) is pleased to announce its recent hire of Matthew S. Harris, who will join the organization as Vice President of Global Supply Chain. Harris’ 15-year track record of leadership and expertise in Category Management and Finance roles within the foodservice industry will be invaluable in this new role at SFC.
As Vice President of Global Supply Chain, Harris will be instrumental in optimizing internal and external key functions such as alignment of strategic partnerships and procurement processes including product assortment, supplier selection and inbound costing. All areas are a strategic focus of the company as it continues to expand its portfolio in both the foodservice and retail markets.
“For the past 5 years, we’ve experienced record sales growth each year and have completed our horizontal integration initiative with our acquisition of RMH Foods® last year,” said Mark D. Matthew’s knowledge of the industry and proven success with increasing profitability through streamlining key functions throughout the supply chain makes him a logical and important addition to our team.”
Harris has a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Western Michigan University and upon graduation, began his career in the foodservice industry at US Foods, one of the largest foodservice distributers in the US. He served as Internal Auditor and Controller in the City Meats division. In 2003, he accepted a position as a Financial Analyst at Gordon Food Service® (GFS) and over the next 11 years, progressed from Associate Category Manager to Director of Category Management.

Matthew Harris currently resides in Grand Rapids, MI with his wife, Deirdre, and two sons. The family will be relocating to Ohio within the month.
