Dr. Saint is the George Dock Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan, the Director of the VA/University of Michigan Patient Safety Enhancement Program, and the Associate Chief of Medicine at the Ann Arbor VA Medical Center.

Dr. Saint is a prominent author and researcher in the field. In addition to his clinical accomplishments, Dr. Saint has authored more than 200 peer-reviewed papers with approximately 75 appearing in the New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, Lancet or the Annals of Internal Medicine. Dr. Saint’s research is currently funded by the National Institutes of Health, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the European Commission.
