US Sports Camps Announces the Addition of UC Santa Cruz to the 2014 Nike Running Camp Lineup
San Rafael, CA (PRWEB) March 21, 2014 -- The Nike Running Camp at UC Santa Cruz offers the perfect opportunity to learn from a very knowledgeable staff and run in one of the finest training environments on the West Coast. Camp Director Adam Boothe is the former head coach at Winona State University.
Coach Boothe led the women’s cross country team at UC Santa Cruz from 2003-2010, where he coached six All-Region runners and three NCAA national qualifiers. While coaching at UCSC, he co-founded Santa Cruz Endurance, a running and triathlon club in Northern California. Boothe’s passion for running has never wavered. He is thrilled to be back to where he started his coaching career to host this Nike Cross Country Camp. Coach Boothe had this to say when asked about coming back to the West Coast,

The Nike Cross Country Camp at UC Santa Cruz is open to runners ages 12-18, with overnight and extended day options available. Campers reside in the dorms at UC Santa Cruz and eat in the campus dining facility. Runs take place on campus, on some of the surrounding off-road trails and at the beach, just five minutes from campus.
At the NIKE Running Camps, the goal is to stimulate a love for running and aid runners in becoming better, faster and smarter athletes. Nike Running Camps provide an educational and inspirational experience for campers, ages 12-18, all fitness levels and abilities.
