Albuquerque's local coffee chain, Satellite Coffee, has some of the best coffee I've ever had.
Albuquerque, New Mexico (PRWEB) November 13, 2013
Satellite Coffee has introduced its newest coffee, a full bodied, Rain Forest Alliance Verified, Guatemala single origin roast from Finca Vizcaya. Finca Vizcaya is a relatively small, respected plantation in southern Guatemala famous for its beans used in espresso blends in Europe. At an altitude from 1400 to 1700 meters above sea level on mainly clay soil, beautiful Bourbon, Tipica, Pache and Caturra shrubs grow and harness prized coffee beans that are late harvested, processed and sun-dried. This plantation has participated in Cup of Excellence competitions and production ranges from 10-15 lots per year.
Juan Lopez, Satellite Coffee’s Roast Master with 30 years of industry experience, has perfectly nurtured the full body, bright citrus notes and a remarkable toffee candy finish of the bean. Juan says he chose this bean for “its rich and interesting big bold flavors and its exceptional finish.”
Satellite Coffee hand selects and buys beans in small lots based on seasonal availability. Customers are delighted by the seasonal single origin beans and skillfully micro-roasted blends.
