Neighbors helping neighbors is what we’re all about here, and in this season of giving, we hope everyone will open their hearts and rally around our neighbors in South Carolina.
Savannah, GA (PRWEB) November 15, 2015
Rountree Brady Insurance Agency debuts the latest charity campaign in its recognized Community Program in the greater Savannah area by announcing their intent to direct efforts in raising awareness and funds for Samaritan’s Purse. Currently providing relief services for victims of the recent flooding in South Carolina, donations are now being accepted through the campaign’s page at https://www.crowdrise.com/rountreebradyinsuran/fundraiser/jeffbrady.
Samaritan’s Purse is a Christian nonprofit organization dedicated to providing crisis and disaster relief wherever needed, throughout the world. They specialize in meeting critical needs in the world’s most troubled regions. At home in the U.S., Samaritan’s Purse quickly mobilizes staff and volunteers to provide emergency aid when hurricanes, tornadoes and flooding strike our communities. In addition to providing immediate, emergency needs, they go the extra mile to help victims recover and get back on their feet. Most recently, their focus has been on the residents of South Carolina who lost so much in the tremendous flooding. Virtually overnight, many people lost their homes and everything they owned. Samaritan’s Purse has established camps and relief services to feed, house, clothe and provide hope in any way they can. The organization is in constant need of both volunteers and monetary support, in order to serve as many people as require their assistance.
“Neighbors helping neighbors is what we’re all about here,” said Mickey Rountree, the agency’s principal, “and in this season of giving, we hope everyone will open their hearts and rally around our neighbors in South Carolina. Getting these people back on their feet is something that should motivate us all. We can help make a brighter holiday, and future, for them if we all work together.”
Through the agency’s vast network of professional and personal contacts, the team at Rountree Brady hopes the initiative to spread the word about Samaritan’s Purse will bring awareness to the ongoing challenges faced by the flooding victims in South Carolina, and their great need for funds and volunteers. The agency has set a fundraising goal of $500 and will promote the cause over the course of the next 30-90 days through their social media channels and email and text message communications, as well as through their monthly magazine. Our Hometown magazine, which is delivered to thousands of households in the greater Savannah area, reserves a full page to feature all the details of the campaign for Samaritan’s Purse. The electronic Flipbook version of the current issue may be accessed here: http://www.rountreebradyinsurance.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_41.
