Families in Savannah, GA Continue to Fundraise for Reed House in Support of Adults with Mental Illness

Residents of the Savannah area have begun counting on Reed House as a place which positively impacts the lives of many of its adults. Old Savannah Insurance Agency announces a new campaign to raise funds in support of Reed House and Chatam County’s mentally ill adults.

We all have an obligation to help those around us in need and to keep our communities strong. Supporting and enriching people’s lives is what we work to do every day, so Reed House is a cause in which we believe very strongly.

Helping to keep local neighborhoods strong has become a priority for Old Savannah Insurance Agency, located in Savannah, GA. In support of Reed House, they have announced a new charity campaign to raise funds which will help impact the lives of Chatam County’s10,000 mentally ill adults. Reed House strives to provide the education, training and support these people need in order to mainstream into the local workforce and integrate into the community at large. Spending six hours a day, five days a week at Reed House, these adults also receive free meals while they acquire the skills they need to become productive members of the community. The agency will donate $10 to the cause for each person recommended to the agency for a quote – no purchase necessary. Anyone willing to help with this campaign may recommend someone they know who might need a new insurance evaluation for their car, home, life and more.
