Author and Artist Sb Waitt Will be Featured at 2014 California Library Association Event
SAN DIEGO (PRWEB) May 21, 2014 -- Over the years, author and artist Sb Waitt has saved doodles, sketches and his personal reflections. He now presents his new book “Outta Sbzzz Mind” (published by AuthorHouse), which contains Waitt’s original artwork alongside his thoughts and feelings on each work.
Of “Outta Sbzzz Mind,” Waitt says, “It contains my past, present and futuristic ideas of how we can make this world a better place.”
The work in “Outta Sbzzz Mind” is designed to entertain readers as well as inspire individuals to believe that they can accomplish their dreams and obtain their desires. As Waitt says, “You are good enough, so go on and take on a small part of the world the way you want to.”
An excerpt from the entry, “Who is that person in the mirror?”:
“The first time I ever really believed I am an artist was after walking through a Contemporary Museum. This was during a field trip while attended an art class at Miramar College around the 1997 time frame. The exhibits I saw provoked me. I was angry! I came out of there saying if they are artist based on what they created, who or what am I . . . I walked towards my car fuming. Before I got to my car I yelled out loud, ‘I am an artist!’ I am trembling now as I type this page. I still recall that first self-declaration of being an artist.”
“Outta Sbzzz Mind” will be featured at the 2014 California Library Association book fair from November 7 to November 9.
