Lowcountry homebuilder, Sabal Homes, will unveil their new home designs in Summers Corner in Summerville. Summers Corner is the newest of Sabal Homes communities who is currently offering new homes in 10 communities through the tri-county region. Summers Corner has based its uniqueness on being a “community in a garden” meaning neighborhoods are carefully planned around parks, public gardens, ponds and wetlands. Sabal Homes is one of four homebuilders currently designing homes within Summers Corner.

Sabal Homes will showcase their model home and available floor plans during a grand opening event hosted by Summers Corner on Saturday, Sept. 19 from 1-4 p.m. The event is open to the public and includes live music, games, food trucks, storyteller and more. The grand opening will take place in The Commons at the Corner House Café + Information Center. The Corner House is Summers Corner’s main gathering place where guests can find coffee, outdoor markets, demonstration gardens and information about new homes. Future residents will be able to tour Model Home Row and visit Buffalo Lake House, Pool House and many other outdoor spaces.

“Homebuyers won’t just be purchasing a new home, they will be buying a new lifestyle,” said Lindsey Tyler, Sabal Home’s director of sales. “From farm-to-table dining to the ‘buy local movement’, Summers Corner provides more than 6,000 acres of neighborhoods, parks, gardens and commercial space and does a wonderful job of blending nature and civilization together.”

Guests will have the opportunity to view two different Sabal model homes during the grand opening. All Sabal Homes will offer a custom and personalized building experience and will be built taking cues from historic Lowcountry architecture, including wide porches, warm colors, while advancing the comfort and quality of the everyday living experience.

Located off Highways 17A and 61, Summers Corner provides convenient access to I-26 and the heart of Summerville, offering an easy commute. All homes will be within a five-minute walk to a park or garden as well as easy distance to the Commons, Buffalo Lake and Corner House Café + Information Center. School-aged children will be able to attend Dorchester District 2 schools, some of the best in the state. Summers Corner will also soon be home to the new Sand Hill Elementary School, the Middle School of the Arts and the 1,200-seat Summers Corner Performing Arts Center, all scheduled to open in the 2016 school year.
