2015 SC Awards U.S.: IT Security’s Premier Awards Program Now Open for Nominations

SC Magazine today announced that nominations for the 2015 SC Awards U.S. are now open. Now in its 18th year, the SC Awards U.S. delivers the most prominent recognition for (IT) security professionals, products and companies helping protect today’s enterprise from advanced, data-stealing attacks. Winners will be revealed at the annual SC Awards U.S. Gala, to be held on April 21, 2015 in San Francisco.

“From large-scale breaches to new zero-day exploits, the first half of 2014 tested the very best in the IT security industry," said Illena Armstrong, VP, editorial, SC Magazine. “Thousands of companies and information security professionals face these challenges daily, and we look forward to honoring their achievements and their dedication to safeguarding business, customers and critical data.”

The SC Awards pay tribute to the ongoing innovations of the individuals, vendors and service provider communities working around the clock to secure industry and infrastructure. This year, entrants have the opportunity to submit in 31 categories grouped under three major themes: Reader Trust Awards, Excellence Awards and Professional Awards. Nominations may be completed online through the SC Magazine website, http://awards.scmagazine.com/entering. Submissions may be completed over time by saving progress after any changes and completing the entry prior to the close of the nomination period. Submissions must be completed by Friday, Oct. 10, 2014. Finalists will be identified in the January 2015 issue of SC Magazine and on the website, scmagazine.com. Winners will be announced at the 2015 SC Awards U.S. Gala in San Francisco on April 21, 2015.

Throughout the selection process, finalists will provide valuable insight on some of the biggest security challenges facing organizations. Finalists will provide further vision and perspectives in the magazine, on the SC Awards blog and via a live stream of tweets. Security professionals can also stay current on other relevant IT security news and breaking stories on the SC Magazine website and Twitter feed.
