Glasgow (PRWEB UK) 10 February 2014
Debt Advisory Services (Scotland) has relocated to larger premises as part of their expansion program. This relocation enables them to set up the Money Advice Centre in Milngavie, on the outskirts of Glasgow, where they will be able to offer appointments and regular open days for members of the public to drop in for face to face debt advice. The larger premises will, in addition, allow the company to recruit and train further telephone based staff to provide free confidential advice to people living in Scotland and experiencing financial difficulties.
Director of Debt Advisory Services (Scotland), Peter Pollock, said: “Our new telephone advisory service and open day clinics mean that individuals and business owners can get that much needed advice that they require from a friendly, understanding and experienced advisor. So much advice is now obtained online but we feel that a one to one meeting between our advisors and the individual concerned is more appropriate when it comes to making the important and potentially life changing decisions.”
Whilst the open days are intended to allow the public to access confidential debt advice themselves, Debt Advisory Services (Scotland) are also aiming to build close partnerships with local advisors throughout Scotland, to promote referral of clients who could benefit from the debt advice and solutions they can offer.
Debt Advisory Services (Scotland) was established in 2006 to offer comprehensive advice to those struggling with debt issues. With access to a full panel of experts including Financial Advisors and Insolvency Practitioners, they offer a range of services including debt management plans, debt arrangement schemes, PPI reclaim services, budget planning and cost cutting services. In addition to office appointments and open days, they offer free home visits for people living in mainland Scotland.
