East End Screen Printing, A Long Island Printing Company, Commends Hard Rock Café and Linkin Park For T-Shirt Charity
Bohemia, NY (PRWEB) August 27, 2013 -- On August 27, Bruce Graham, owner of East End Screen Printing, a Long Island printing company, responds to an article on the Sun Herald detailing how a Mississippi-based Hard Rock Café restaurant is teaming up with rock band Linkin Park to raise money for charity through t-shirt sales.
According to the article published by the Sun Herald on August 19 titled, “T-Shirt, available at Hard Rock Café in Biloxi, will help power the world,” a Mississippi Hard Rock Café restaurant has teamed up with rock band Linkin Park to raise money for Power the World, a nonprofit organization founded by the band.
The article says the organization approached Hard Rock Café to begin selling limited edition Linkin Park t-shirts to help bring electricity to the over 1 billion people of the world who live without it.
Bruce Graham, owner of East End Screen Printing, a Long Island printing company says, “Selling t-shirts to support charity is not a new idea, but it has proven to be quite effective in the past. Many organizations from around the world have used T-shirts to promote charities and support nonprofits. T-shirts are an excellent way to raise money for charity. They are extremely cost effective especially when buying in bulk and can turn a nice profit for those charities looking to raise money.”
The t-shirt charity drive is part of a larger lineup called the Signature Series. The article says it’s “a program that partners Hard Rock with renowned musicians and artists to create merchandise in support of deserving causes worldwide.”
Graham says, “T-shirts unite people because it shows support for a common idea. When someone supports a charity through the sale of a t-shirt it is a direct way of showing support and placing someone in a group of others that share similar ideas.”
