Business Owner Steven Leibold Helping Vets Obtain Financial Freedom
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) June 02, 2015 -- Steven Leibold of San Diego Business Advisors is slated to speak at a Veteran Entrepreneurs Today (VET) seminar this July. Steven will be speaking to military veterans and combat-disabled vets to help them launch their own business ventures.
“I will be speaking about my experience in running a business, e.g., things to watch for, tips and tricks, etc.,” said Steven. “There has recently been an unprecedented number of vets re-entering the job market, which is limited, and these seminars will teach them how to start their own businesses, thus circumventing the significant challenges of finding employment.”
VET, a program produced and supervised by Honoring Our Troops, which is a San Diego-based nonprofit dedicated to filling the needs of returning vets by supporting them with starting small businesses, reports that unemployment among veterans age twenty-four-thirty-five is as high as seventeen percent.
“The inability to obtain employment is recognized as a major factor in veteran depression, divorce and despair,” said Steven. “It is an honor for me to help these vets, who have given so much of themselves for our country’s freedom, establish their own businesses and gain financial freedom for themselves.”
VET utilizes local small business experts, such as Steven Leibold, on topics such as marketing, legal issues, taxes, management and human resources to provide weekly topic discussions and presentations, in a round-table format. Veteran participation is free to qualified participants, who will receive follow-up support for six months after the initial twelve-week group. For more information about the event, please call Steven at (619) 294-4286 or please visit meetup.com/Veteran-Entrepreneurs-Today.
