Seal River Heritage Lodge is the dream that came true for Mike and Jeanne Reimer, who pioneered the world's first polar bear walking safaris over 20 years ago. Their comfortable and cozy custom-built lodge was developed deep in the heart of polar bear country, 60 km north of Churchill, Manitoba on Canada's rugged Hudson Bay coast.
Located directly in the path of the polar bears as they wander the wild Hudson Bay coastline during the summer and fall, Seal River Heritage Lodge is also only 10 km south of the Seal River estuary, where thousands of beluga whales congregate every summer.
