MORRISTOWN, N.J., Oct. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Secure Now! and Techs+Together are forging a new partnership to give managed service providers (MSPs) a leg-up in the marketplace by offering direct access to an array of cybersecurity tools and employee training programs.
Through both its Breach Secure Now! and HIPAA Secure Now! platforms, the cybersecurity services that Secure Now! is now making available to Techs+Together members range from dark web monitoring and employee security training, to security risk assessments and HIPAA compliance policies and procedures.
These Secure Now! services fill an important niche within the Techs+Together community, an alliance of more than 300 MSPs and IT professionals who work together for the mutual benefit of members by offering the combined purchasing power of a technology buying group through SaaS billing.
Techs+Together members purchase subscriptions at a discount and receive training in various software programs including PrinterLogic, Kaseya, and others. Secure Now! adds a tier two service with dark web monitoring, employee security training and HIPAA compliance/security risk assessment, giving these MSPs a full range of services to offer their clients.
"The comprehensive services offered by Secure Now! are a natural fit for our members because they provide a lower-cost entry point for MSPs to become full-service providers who can meet their clients' need for greater cybersecurity," said Mark Shaw, CEO of the Techs+Together community.
"Our new partnership with Secure Now! saves our members the time and money it would take for them to go the lone ranger route in terms of trying to figure out on their own which cybersecurity tools they should buy and learn."
"We are committed to helping MSPs painlessly expand their security services and attract new clients," said Art Gross, CEO of Secure Now! "Because of that commitment, we are pleased to join Techs+Together and empower MSPs to capitalize on their clients' growing need for stronger cybersecurity to prevent data breaches and ransomware attacks."
The Dark Web Breach Assessment (DWBA) platform from Secure Now! gives MSP clients protection against hackers who target the weakest link in the cybersecurity chain: employees. Through DWBA, MSPs can conduct dark web surveillance and uncover which employees have had their passwords breached and credentials compromised. MSPs can also scan accounts associated with a client's email domain and identify which ones were involved in a breach – demonstrating the risk that the dark web poses to their businesses.
Then, MSPs can follow up with solutions to reduce those risks through Employee Security Awareness Training and Employee Vulnerability Assessment (EVA) offered by Secure Now!
These employee security training programs include an overview of security threats, such as phishing scams, ransomware, social media scams, hackable wifi, etc., and best practices for cybersecurity, as well as ongoing lessons for workers to reinforce the information. EVA uses gamification to engage employees in friendly competition to improve their personal cybersecurity scores and reduce the risk of exposing themselves or their companies to a data breach.
The Secure Now! tools and services now available to Techs+Together members enable MSPs to rapidly expand their own businesses by demonstrating added value to their clients. As Techs+Together Director of Customer Success Chip Bieler said, "Our goal is to help MSPs realize their dreams."
