With the introduction of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and Essential Health Benefits (EHBs) requirements, there was an immediate need for stand-alone group dental plans that offer adult and family benefits, along with pediatric dental EHB coverage.

With the introduction of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and Essential Health Benefits (EHBs) requirements, there was an immediate need for stand-alone group dental plans that offer adult and family benefits, along with pediatric dental EHB coverage.

The ACA Group Dental plans are now available to quote in 22 states for January 1, 2015 effective dates. The plans are open to groups with as little as two lives on an employer-funded or voluntary basis. While each plan includes the same certified pediatric dental benefits satisfying EHB requirements, the adult benefits range from basic to comprehensive to fit the needs of most employer groups.
