Author Seko Ong has been a humanistic educator and motivator for more than 22 years. During this time, she challenged her students to challenge their limits, not limit their challenges. She is now ready to challenge readers to do the same, with the release of her first book.
In her book, Ong describes what she believes is holding back many people from enjoying their life: an ignorance of one’s true self-worth. She believes that even suffering can bring about greater understanding of one’s self and enable readers to walk away from pain feeling accomplished, not defeated.
Ong hopes that through the reading of her book, readers can abandon what she believes is a sense of apathy that finds its way into the mindsets of many people.
“Every poison can be transformed into medicine with the single-minded desire for hopefulness,” Ong says. “We are happy not because we overcome our problems rather, we are happy because we experience the flowering of our inner potential in the midst of challenging our problems.”
