Seventy percent of all people over 65 years of age will require some form of care in their life - the numbers are undeniable. I'm so proud to be in a position where I can help seniors and their families in very a positive way.

Amada Senior Care, premier provider of non-medical in-home care and assisted living placement counseling, recently opened its very first office in Virginia – its Richmond location. Amada franchise partner Jay Mann came to the senior care industry with a background in healthcare and sales management; having previously served as an executive for multiple companies in the physician, hospital and biopharma markets. The grand opening will be held on Tuesday, August 11th.

According to Jay, Amada Richmond is committed to making life easier, safer and more fulfilling for seniors by providing non-medical in-home care. “Some of the services we provide are assistance with activities of daily living – things that can help you or your loved one stay in your house safely for as long as possible,” he said. “We also assist seniors and their families by offering placement advisory services; a form of counseling that helps individuals find the best assisted living environment for their unique situation.”

Amada Richmond understands the concerns seniors have when it comes to funding their care, and specializes in utilizing life insurance policies, long-term care insurance policies and Veteran’s Aid and Attendance benefits to pay for care. “We understand the options available and will work with you to determine the best option for you and your family,” said Jay.

Jay said he feels incredibly fortunate to serve this growing population. "Seventy percent of all people over 65 years of age will require some form of care in their life. The numbers are undeniable. I'm so proud to be in a position where I can help seniors and their families in a positive way."

The grand opening of Amada Senior Care Richmond will take place on Tuesday, August 11th. The office is currently looking for qualified full and part-time caregivers to work with its clients. For more information, visit http://www.AmadaSeniorCare.com/Richmond or call 804-793-8255.
