Serenity Rehab Donates to City of Marne Christmas Tree Lighting
Marne, Michigan (PRWEB) November 15, 2016 -- In recent news, Serenity Point Rehabilitation, a drug and alcohol addiction rehabilitation center in Marne, Michigan, has jumped into the holiday spirit and community feel in Marne. The rehab center has made a significant contribution to the city for its second annual Christmas Tree Lighting, and its first annual Presents Hand Out event.
The rehab center expresses its interests and its dedication to not only rehabilitating individuals from drug and alcohol addiction, but also to help out the community and improve the town that it is established in. The rehab center has helped out with many different community events and activities in the past, and this is the first of many years that it will assist with Marne’s holiday celebrations.
In addition to donating for the Christmas lights, the rehab center also donated 150 presents for Santa to hand out when he arrives on the fire truck this year. The tree and the Christmas lights were on display last year, but Santa, a fire truck, and presents are new for this year.
We encourage you to come out and join the holiday festive fun this year in Marne. If you want to help out and be a part of Serenity’s plan to contribute back to the city, you are welcome to do that as well. As for the details on the event:
-When: Saturday, November 29, 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
-Where: Marne Memorial Veterans Park (across from the Interurban Depot Cafe')
-What: Christmas Music and Warm beverages on site.
-Christmas tree lighting at 6:30 pm sharp.
-Featuring live performance by St. Mary's Junior Choir and caroling team.
-Then follow along with Santa to the Wright Township Hall for more free, community, family fun.
-Meet Santa himself and have your picture taken, decorate Christmas cookies, create Christmas cards for the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans and retired service members, and enjoy a light, tasty, festive holiday meal served with a beverage too.
-Hosted by: Marne Lions Club, Marne American Legion, & Wright Township
We’ve been happy to announce Serenity’s eagerness to help the community and be a part of the bigger picture. This is no ordinary business that just keeps to itself. This is a business that wants to make a difference with their clients and right here in the community too.
