As of June 2017, owner Larry Hutson, has recently sold his business franchise, ServiceMaster of North Texas, to partners Greg and Tonya Gilmer. After 20 years of hard work in the disaster restoration industry, Hutson is a proud member of the Dallas Athletic Club and looks forward to contributing more of his time towards his passion of playing golf. On the other hand, Greg and Tonya Gilmer have been a part of ServiceMaster of North Texas since 2001 and 2002 respectively, and are happy to be keeping the business within the family. They both look forward to the future in carrying the same mission and values of the company to continue providing quality emergency restoration services for the home and business owners in the Dallas, TX area.
History of ServiceMaster of North Texas
ServiceMaster of North Texas is an emergency restoration and cleaning company that was established in 1978, providing only disaster restoration services at the time. Larry Hutson had then bought the franchise in 1987 after working 20 years in the real estate industry, growing the business to also provide residential and commercial cleaning services in the Dallas, TX area.
It was later that Greg and Tonya Gilmer had joined in 2001 and 2002 to help it grow, including responding to emergency calls, working with technicians, and coordinating financial transactions. As a result of the team’s hard work and efforts, ServiceMaster of North Texas was awarded the 2002 and 2003 ServiceMaster Expert Award, the 2002 and 2003 Premier Circle Award, the 2005 Crawford Contractor Connection Excellence in Achievement, and the Farmers Franchise of the Year Award in 2011. As Hutson is proud to pass the business to new owners Greg and Tonya Gilmer, they look forward to providing the same dedication and excellence to their customers that was contributed from Hutson.
