Leading media organization TechMedia will host the 9th annual Southeast Venture Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina beginning on March 31, 2015. The SEVC showcases the most promising emerging technology firms in the southeast region of the country. It also provides these companies with unmatched exposure to the region’s top venture capitalists and private equity investors. The goal of the SEVC is to support entrepreneurial activity, innovation and economic development of the Southeast, while understanding the importance of investment capital to those goals.

Showcase presenters will include local startups like AddShoppers. In addition to the presentations from over 50 of the leading high growth tech companies from the region, SEVC will feature several dozen industry experts speaking on the latest topics and best practices in the world of high tech entrepreneurship and venture capital. This year’s speaker lineup will include Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple, and Scott Kupor, who is a manager partner at venture capital firm Andreessen Horwitz. Sponsors of the conference also include several local organizations, including Business Innovation Growth (BIG) and the Business Marketing Association of the Carolinas.

Immediately following SEVC, TechMedia will also be presenting Digital Summit in Charlotte from April 1 to April 2. Digital Summit is a premier digital strategies forum with a goal of educating and promoting forward thinking and thought leadership on topics related to internet business and marketing. This year’s speakers will also include Steve Wozniak, along with Robin Wheeler, who manages client partnerships at Twitter. Digital Summit Charlotte is regularly attended by some of the most influential digital workers in the Southeast. This year’s list of attendees includes Command Partners, one of Charlotte’s leading digital marketing agencies, among others.
