Sharper Development Solutions' Betty Parker Presents at Women's Empowerment Luncheon
Columbia, SC (PRWEB) October 09, 2013 -- Female business owners working on their businesses and professional women working in any business are invited to attend a leadership forum designed with the female professional in mind. On October 16, 2013 at the Capital City Club in downtown Columbia, leadership expert Betty Parker of Sharper Development Solutions, Inc. will present at a kickoff meeting for a series of topics on leadership entitled “Is Your (Leadership) Style in Fashion?” The event begins at 11:30 a.m. with networking and Betty Parker takes the podium at noon to challenge the audience to become more aware of their leadership styles.
Though the topic suggests this is a forum for people in leadership positions on the job or women who own their own businesses, all women in the workplace are welcome to attend. The meeting is free, but lunch at the Capital City Club is provided for a small fee. The club, in an attempt to provide additional value to their current offerings and amenities, tapped Parker to begin an educational series for their female membership. They are also reaching out to the community at large for women who are interested in empowering themselves on the job.
“I’m so excited to be able to offer good, solid advice to women who have the desire to advance in the workplace,” says Parker. “So often, we want to do more but don’t know how. I intend to provide the women who attend this forum the tools they’ll need to go back to work and hammer away at goals they’ve set to win.”
The series begins in January and lasts through April next year. Each month a different topic will be presented that should help professional women develop in their positions. Everything from communications to conflict management to collaboration, Parker will present with the female professional in mind. Interested women should RSVP to (803) 256-2000.
