Sheba Wilbur reveals power of patience and love of God in new book
WYSOX, Pa. (PRWEB) March 30, 2014 -- Shelba Wilbur has been writing short stories and poems throughout her life. In her new book, “Children from Heaven and When God Speaks” (published by Trafford Publishing), Wilbur includes her cherished novella, “Children from Heaven,” along with an inspirational collection of short stories, “When God Speaks,” which showcase the power of God and how faith transforms the lives of believers.
In “Children from Heaven,” Addie and her husband, David, have been trying to have a baby, and though Addie grows more and more desperate, God tells her to be patient. When David dies tragically in a car accident, Addie feels cheated, as though her waiting had been for nothing.
One day, not long after David’s death, a friend of Addie’s shows up on her doorstep with four boys in need of a home. Addie opens her home to them, and as the family begins to blossom, she becomes Mama Addie, changing the lives of the children who come to live with her.
The collection of short stories, “When God Speaks,” shares Wilbur’s special message of faith as her characters build their personal relationships with God. Through her novella and short stories, she hopes to leave readers with “hope, faith in God and a feeling that no matter what comes up in our lives through faith, anything can happen.”
