ShortStack offers new freemium plan policy

This plan is the best way for potential users to see how powerful our campaign-building platform is for collecting leads.

ShortStack, the marketing software company, has announced it is offering an improvement to its freemium plan. ShortStack’s free plan now includes access to ShortStack’s most popular features, such as exportable databases for leads collected using ShortStack, and the option to publish campaigns -- e.g., contests and newsletter sign-up forms -- to the Web in addition to on Facebook.

“We want users, even the ones who use our platform without paying, to have access to the best features we offer,” said Jim Belosic, CEO, ShortStack. ”It’s the best way for them to see how powerful our campaign-building platform is for collecting leads.”

On ShortStack’s free plan, users have the ability to try ShortStack’s lead-collecting features first-hand without any financial obligation or expiring trials. The plan includes access to promotions, contact forms, templates, third party integrations, database storage, and website-embed features.

ShortStack will store users’ first 25 campaign leads/entries in a database at no charge. After 25, ShortStack will email entries to users, as they come in. On upgraded accounts ShortStack will store all leads/entries in a convenient, exportable database format. Databases are easy to organize, and they allow users to display valuable information collected from their online followers during promotions, to pick random winners, and more.

Businesses with fewer than 25,000 Facebook fans will benefit from the ability to build an unlimited number of social campaigns on ShortStack’s free plan; many small businesses will be able to use the plan indefinitely. With every Campaign built, users are provided with a Custom URL which can be used to publish to the Web (where there are no fan limits at all). Users can also embed Campaigns on their websites or blogs.

ShortStack currently offers more than 30 powerful tools that allow users to build promotions, import images and custom forms, integrate with social networks and action-gate your campaigns.

For users who want access to additional features, ShortStack offers paid plans starting at $29/month.
