Three day packed agenda provides SIG with a premier forum for executives in sourcing and outsourcing.

SIG, the premier membership organization for sourcing, procurement and outsourcing executives, kicks off their Global Leadership Summit (http://www.sig.org/summits-fort-worth.php) at the Fort Worth Omni Resort in Fort Worth, Texas on Monday night, October 14 with a pre-registration networking reception.

The event officially opens Tuesday morning with a keynote by Carey Lohrenz, the first female F14 Tomcat Fighter Pilot for the U.S. Navy. Her presentation on succeeding in a high-pressure environment is one of many sessions highlighting the importance of strong leadership skills. Other keynote sessions include Dr. Tim Elmore, an authority on understanding the next generation and preparing tomorrow’s leaders for today’s workforce; Brian Biro, an author of nine books and award-winning speaker; and a panel of Chief Procurement Officers and leaders from a variety of industries talking about the challenges they face daily.
