Open to the Public: Silicon Valley AgTech Conference in Palo Alto on May 12
Palo Alto, Calif. (PRWEB) April 15, 2014 -- The first-ever “Silicon Valley AgTech Conference” will be held on May 12, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Oshman Family Jewish Community Center at 3921 Fabian Way in Palo Alto. The event is a forum for farmers, technologists, venture capitalists, and government representatives to discuss how technology can and will affect all aspects of the farming process, from production to supply chain and distribution. The event is open to the public, and tickets can be secured via Eventbrite.
“The AgTech Conference will feature presentations, expert panelists, roundtables, an AgTech speed-matching exercise, business pitches, and displays,” said Roger Royse, a founder of Silicon Valley AgTech. “Royse Law Firm is pleased to support the AgTech community and to promote the creative exchange of ideas between entrepreneurs, investors, government officials and others. We encourage those with an interest in the intersection of technology and agriculture to attend.”
Royse added that students are welcome to attend and can demonstrate their technologies alongside participating startups at discounted prices. Lunch is included with each admission ticket.
