Sine-Wave Technologies CEO to Speak on IoT Solutions & Open Data at MIT
Hopkinton, MA (PRWEB) October 04, 2014 -- Sine-Wave Technologies, Inc. a leader in Internet of Things Platforms, has announced that its CEO and Founder, Jonathan Clark, will deliver an address entitled "Driving Value by Open Data in the IoT" on Monday, October 6, at the 4th International Conference on the Internet of Things (IoT 2014). His talk will be included as part of the Workshop on Open Data Standards.
There's tension between software, hardware and back-office systems that must be resolved for the IoT space to move forward. Fortunately there are solutions to this using open data standards, including standards that are actively in development. Clark will be discussing how open standards have facilitated real world solutions for Sine-Wave's customers. In addition, he will focus on new trends in open standards, including exciting progress in programming languages and the IoT.
Clark's address will also focus on the use of open data in the IoT, from finding the right balance between openness, privacy and compliance, to learning how to make significant use of "digital exhaust," or data that's often considered "waste" today.
