AAG Environmental Announces Lead Removal at Strickland Firing Range
Newberry, FL (PRWEB) September 24, 2013 -- AAG Environmental is pleased to announce it has begun the lead removal process at Strickland Firing Range in Volusia County, Florida. AAG was awarded the contract in April.
With AAG’s expert specialized hazardous waste cleanup services, the company has also been contacted about performing another lead removal project at a facility in the Panama City Beach area. Since the award of the Strickland contract, AAG has also won a contract with the Florida Department of Corrections for lead removal at Hendry Correctional Institute in Immokalee, Florida.
With the remediation of the Strickland Firing Range, AAG will excavate and transport all contaminated material, and dispose of all the contaminated elements at numerous permitted disposal facilities.
AAG has aggressively moved forward with actively seeking out lead removal opportunities at weapons firing ranges across the Southeast. The company has partnered with a renowned recycling company to possibly recycle the lead and brass at all of its job locations both now and in the future.
AAG is constantly moving into new areas, both in the Southeast and in the expanding environmental industry. AAG has also continued to expand its hazardous and non-hazardous drum and bulk routes through the entire state of Florida and parts of Georgia and Alabama. AAG will operate in more states throughout the coming months with its transportation division continuing to expand.
