Ellison Captures Platinum in Modern Library Awards for Its Prestige Pro Machine
LAKE FOREST, Calif. (PRWEB) January 27, 2015 -- Ellison® Educational Equipment, Inc., the leader in creative learning through die-cutting machines, dies and accessories for every age and stage of education, is pleased to announce that it has received the platinum distinction for its Prestige® Pro machine from LibraryWorks, Inc.’s inaugural Modern Library Awards (MLAs).
Created to recognize the top products in the library industry, the MLAs are voted on by select members from the LibraryWorks database of more than 80,000 librarians at public, K-12, academic and special libraries.
The Prestige Pro machine earned a score of 8.5 out of 10, receiving platinum distinction for its ability to stand up to the most pressing of challenges by quickly and easily cutting curriculum-based shapes to promote literacy and storytelling, as well as any subject, lesson or theme.
With superior quality components and compatibility with all steel-rule SureCut™, AllStar® and most Bigz™ dies (when used with the Prestige Adapter Pad), the reliable Prestige Pro supports reading by creating many projects such as bookmarks, reading charts and displays – just to name a few. The Prestige Pro easily cuts multiple layers of anything that scissors can, including construction paper, magnet sheet, static cling vinyl, shrink film plastic and even many recyclables.
This year’s program featured 46 products submitted by 36 companies and were judged by librarians with real hands-on experience with the products, evaluating them for quality, functionality, value, customer service experience and overall customer satisfaction.
“We are so honored to have our Prestige Pro Machine designated a platinum level winner in the Modern Library Awards,” said Saema Khwaja, Ellison Education Manager. “Our classic machine is a trusted resource for teachers and librarians, and we are dedicated to providing enriching products for creative learning and hands-on experiences.”
