Skyline Whitespace Provide Branding for GAME at Nationwide PS4 Launch

Exhibition and event design specialists Skyline Whitespace strengthened their relationship with client GAME at last night’s official nationwide PS4 console launch, providing branding for their stores at the midnight opening.

Skyline Whitespace have worked closely with nationwide retailer GAME to provide support and branding for the official UK launch of the new Sony gaming console, the PlayStation 4. Many stores across the country, including the four main regional stores, opened at midnight to allow keen British gamers the chance to acquire the next generation console at the first possible opportunity, and Skyline Whitespace were brought in to ensure that the branding matched the scale of the event.

Skyline Whitespace Event Consultant Adam Quinney, speaking before the event, said: “We have worked with GAME on many official launch events over the years but the PS4 console launch is particularly exciting for us considering how long everyone has been anticipating the next generation of consoles. The buzz is going to be palpable in the stores at midnight!”

The PS4 has been hotly anticipated, with launch day pre-orders sold out since August and only a limited number of consoles available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the launch event. In London, eager fans had camped out in the cold all week in order to be at the front of the line for last night’s midnight opening at Sony’s PS4 Lounge. The console, which launched in America two weeks ago, has pleased many reviewers with its power and performance, and comes with an array of launch titles including Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Killzone: Shadow Fall and Knack.
