SolidStepCote is easy to use and provides outstanding slip-resistance to tubs and showers.
Cleveland, Ohio (PRWEB) November 19, 2013
The new SolidStepCote DIY Tub and Shower Non-Slip Kit creates a slip-resistant bathtub and shower stall coating that is quick and easy to apply. The clear, single-component non-slip solution is a truly Green product featuring incredibly low VOC's and no fumes or odors. SolidStepCote bonds extremely well to all tub and shower surfaces, is safe for anyone to use and is applied within minutes. It will be ready to use within 4-6 hours and can be cleaned with standard cleaning solutions.
SolidStepCote is not an etching product but a coating that protects and seals grout lines as well as all tub and shower surfaces. It features a pre-mixed transparent aggregate which creates a durable, texturized surface that provides a wet Coefficient of Friction (COF) far exceeding 0.6, well above ADA standards.
SolidStepCote Tub and Shower Kit does not require professional application or ventilation. It is designed for use by homeowners, making it a safe, versatile and user-friendly non-slip solution for bathtubs and shower floors.
"SolidStepCote is easy to use and provides outstanding slip-resistance to tubs and showers," according to company president Dan Ruminski.
The kit includes the non-slip coating, a 3-inch paint roller, disposable paint tray, and application instructions. The coating works on tile, porcelain, fiberglass, acrylic, metal, slate, and even painted or sealed concrete.
There are two different kits. One has a texture similar to 200-grit sandpaper, making it very gentle on bare skin, and often preferred for bathtubs. For surfaces such as shower floors requiring more slip-resistance, a second formula has a texture similar to 100-grit sandpaper.
Martinson-Nicholls provides the customer with the exact size matting needed--small, large, standard, nonstandard, special shapes and logos. Custom installations are also a specialty of the company.
Anti-slip safety tapes and treads are available in various sizes and textures from hand cut or die cut pieces to full rolls and special shapes. For more information, please visit http://www.floormat.com.
