NEW YORK (PRWEB) February 25, 2020
Today, smarTours, the leading provider of affordable trips to bucket list destinations, announced the launch of three new cruise tours bringing the company’s cruise options to 13 tours. The Cruise Lines International Association* reports river cruises in Europe have seen a 53 percent year-over-year growth. Mirroring this travel trend in the industry, smarTours has seen an increased demand from customers for both their classic and new cruise options. smarTours travelers often take multiple trips with the company (some as many as 15!) and are frequently requesting new destinations to visit with the company. The company’s existing Greek Islands cruise is a best-seller. The three new cruises include Three Continents Mediterranean Cruise, Christmas Markets Through Germany, and Christmas Markets Cruise Down the Danube adding to the company’s already more than 50 international tour options.
smarTours New Cruises:
Three Continents Mediterranean Cruise- a 12-day tour that visits three continents (Europe, Africa, and Asia) and five countries (Greece, Egypt, Israel, Cyprus, and Turkey). Travelers will visit three out of the seven ancient wonders of the world as well as many UNESCO world heritage sites. The tour wraps up with sightseeing in ancient Athens. Tour highlights include Pyramids at Giza, Aphrodite's Rock, Acropolis, Temple of Artemis, Church of the Nativity, Old City of Jerusalem, among many other sites.
Christmas Markets Through Germany- an 8-day river cruise tour that visits the most popular Christmas markets in Germany with stops in Nuremberg, Bamberg, Wurzburg, Miltenburg, and Frankfurt. Travelers will visit a Christmas market in each city where they’ll see the entire town illuminated for the holidays. Travelers will enjoy German Christmas staples like gingerbread and sausages while sipping on Gluehwein, a famous hot spiced red wine. Other tour highlights include the Palace of Justice (the site of the Nuremberg trials), Zeppelin Field, a Bavarian village, among many other sites.
Christmas Markets Cruise Down the Danube- an 8-day river cruise tour that visits three different country’s (Hungary, Austria, and Austria) Christmas markets. Travelers will make stops in Budapest, Bratislava, Melk, Linz, and Vienna. Each stop includes a walking tour to take in the festivities. Travelers will sample local treats such as Trdelniks, Bratislavske rozky, and honey wine. Tour highlights include St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Hungarian Parliament Building, Fisherman’s Bastion, Melk Abbey, Belvedere Palace, Vienna State Opera, among many other sites.
“Our travelers come back to us time and time again to plan their vacations. The launch of these new cruises provides additional options to experience some of our most popular booked destinations,” says Christine Petersen, smarTours CEO. “The Mediterranean is among the company’s most popular booked destinations and we are happy to now provide a new way to experience more of this region to both our new and returning travelers. Travelers have also been requesting off-season cruise tours where they can experience these bucket list destinations more affordably with fewer crowds, so we are happy to now offer them an off-season Mediterranean option.”
All of the new tours have multiple departure dates. As with all of smarTours offerings, tours include airfare, feature first-class accommodations, ground transportation, English speaking guides, sightseeing, and many meals.
