Purchasing the intellectual property of a U.K. based synthetic ice skating company means SmartRink now has the ability to not only take its brand global but can promote ice skating and curling in emerging markets like China and Southeast Asia.

John Thorpe, Managing Director of NOICEONE Ltd. says that while he's thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the business it's time for him to slow down and enjoy life. "I've been involved in the synthetic ice skating rink business for over 35 years and I wouldn't change it for anything. But this deal makes good sense for both parties so the time is now." Thorpe adds that "the existing distribution network will remain intact, and the business shows great promise toward continued growth."
NOICEONE Inc. will provide a global footprint in the manufacture, sales and distribution of the trademarked ICE-Y-Blue700™ product platform manufactured in Germany by through a joint venture agreement with OKULEN, one of the largest engineered plastics producers in Europe.
