“If we drill down a little further, we see that its 41.6% for small businesses (0-19 employees) and 44.4% for small and medium businesses combined (0-199 employees) who cannot be found online. This compares to 97.0% of large businesses (200+ employees),” said Mr Rogers.

“By not having an online presence, these SMEs are virtually invisible to people looking for them on the internet - and its is vital for them to understand that people ARE looking for them online,” he continued. “It doesn’t matter whether they are a cafe, hairdresser, dentist or plumber - their customers, patients and clients are using their computers and handheld devices to find them.”

“We can have a business online in a matter of days by building them a website and writing the web copy for them - and from there we can implement the type of strategies that will help our clients to compete with the more dominant players in their niche.”
