On Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. two distinguished Chicago area leaders will be discussing their experiences in planning, coordinating, and marketing the advantages of Chicago as a venue for hosting major global events.
Ms. Lori Healey was the President of the Chicago 2016 Committee, the City's Olympic bid organization, and Executive Director of the Chicago NATO Host Committee, a very successful global summit which highlighted Chicago's economic vitality, arts and architecture, and can-do spirit. Ms. Healey has served as Chief of Staff for Mayor Richard M. Daley, and is currently CEO of Tur Partners LLC, and on the Board of Directors of World Business Chicago.
Dr. Scott Hanlon is the Founder/CEO of Chicago KICS Cup, an international youth soccer tournament scheduled for July 19-26, 2014. KICS Cup is focused on providing a positive experience for boys and girls, promoting international youth soccer, and showcasing Chicago as a world-class destination. Dr. Hanlon has served as the Commissioner of the Chicago Park District, and is Founder of the Near South Soccer League, and a practicing Family Physician.
The Harvard Business School Club of Chicago event will focus on high profile event strategies, the opportunities to capitalize on Chicago's abundant resources, including its premier lakefront location, and the promotion of Chicago as a global destination of choice.

Chicago KICS International Youth Cup is a week-long soccer tournament bringing together young athletes, families, and soccer fans from across the globe. The event will kick off with an opening ceremony on July 20th, held at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Chicago’s famed Millennium Park. Here, players and supporters will have the opportunity to mingle with other participating international teams while enjoying live entertainment.
