The author, educator, consultant, lecturer, and pro-democracy advocate, Dr. Christopher Phillips, and Cecilia Chapa Phillips will introduce the topics of each day and moderate the conversation.
Dr. David Hanscom will cover the role of unpleasant thoughts creating flight or fight physiology. He will teach tools to calm the nervous system and how to process anger.
Dr. Annahita Mahdavi West, professor, poet, highly respected scholar, and psychologist, will share her expertise on resiliency in the face of atrocities.
Roger Breisch will discuss his experience in answering calls on the suicide line, and describe his approach to challenging others to connect to their deepest yearnings.
