The Nike Softball Camp at Willamette University in Oregon runs July 7-11, 2014 geared towards any softball player looking to improve their skill set. The camp offers two programs, a general skills and a high potential. The high potential gives campers a glimpse of what it is like to play at the collegiate level.
Both camps are directed by longtime Nike Softball camp director and head coach at Willamette University, Damian Williams. Damian Williams is in his 16th season as the head softball coach at Willamette University in 2013-14. He has achieved a 302-243 overall record at WU and has led the Bearcats to a 223-157 mark in the Northwest Conference.
“Coach Damian and his staff run an awesome camp,” states Mike de Surville, Vice President of US Sports Camps. “Year after year campers return and always learn more and have fun. He has it down to a science.”
Nike Softball Camps provide focused, intensive training that is essential to improvement for all skill levels. Every facet of the game is covered with an emphasis on fundamentals, helping players become valuable team members. At each location, campers are broken into groups with other players of similar age, abilities and goals. Each camp director does their best to advance players to the next level, keeping in consideration each camper’s experience and desire to improve.
