Soho Sonic Launch “White Night” Night-time Recording Studio Package
(PRWEB UK) 15 May 2015 -- Soho Sonic, the Central London recording studio, has announced the launch of a special overnight recording package aimed at unsigned bands and artists. The “White Night” package allows artists to access high-quality recording facilities in the capital for a more affordable price than is usually possible, by making use of the under-used hours between 11pm and 6am.
Although Soho Sonic already offers both peak and off-peak pricing, the seven-hour overnight package is intended to make professional recording more accessible to hopefuls of any age.
It also allows artists to make use of the recording studio at a time when many say that they are most creative; the night time. Aside from the benefits of peace and quiet, and being able to work without the many distractions of the day, scientific studies support the idea that tiredness boosts creativity by inhibiting the frontal cortex, so for many the early hours of the morning are the perfect time for a jam. Many prominent artists have been night owls, stating that they have created most of their work or their best pieces at night, including Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Bob Dylan, Glenn Gould, and Josh Groban.
A spokesperson for Soho Sonic said, “Musicians who want to break into the recording industry often face huge obstacles just in getting their work recorded. Overnight recording is a great solution because it is cheaper than daytime hours, there is more availability, it can be fitted around a day job, and it is a great time for creative work. We have designed the White Night package to make recording affordable, convenient and inspiring, so that unsigned artists can more easily overcome the usual obstacles and make a high-quality recording that will make a great impression.”
Based in Central London, Soho Sonic was created by the founder of The Musician’s House to provide state of the art recording and mixing facilities in the heart of London. Their team of professional and talented sound engineers and producers have worked with a wide range of clients, from up and coming unsigned musicians to established recording artists such as Lisa Stansfield, Lethal Bizzle, Lady Lykez, Leona Lewis and Mica Paris as well as providing sound production for the likes of BBC, ITV, Sky and Time Warner.
