SILVER SPRING, Md. (PRWEB) March 19, 2019
SOL VISTA®, the leading provider of cross-brand, hotel energy analytics and benchmarking services, continues expanding its Skywalk® platform subscriber base with 48% YOY growth in 2018. Skywalk subscribers now comprise over 50,000 rooms in high-end hotels located in 35 states, including the well-known brands W Hotels, Ritz Carlton, Fairmont, Sofitel, and many more.
SOL VISTA’s continuing growth comes thanks to the company’s commitment to continually enhancing its value to customers. This includes expanding support of the internal environmental and energy efforts of major hotel companies, including Hilton LightStay and IHG Green Engage.
These enhancements helped Skywalk subscribers save millions on their utility bills while also reducing their Greenhouse Gas Emissions by an amount equivalent to 1.1 million pounds of coal burned.
Other 2018 achievements include:
- Providing energy supply services for subscribers in fifteen states and the District of Columbia.
- Energy benchmarking compliance reporting for subscribers in all mandated jurisdictions.
- Continuing support of ENERGY STAR® for Commercial Buildings with ongoing benchmarking of all subscribed properties and assisting multiple properties with earning ENERGY STAR® certification.
“2018 was by far our best year. Winning back the business of two large hotel portfolios that previously left Skywalk to try other platforms was, by far, our biggest accomplishment. SOL VISTA is a small company, so we cultivate relationships with every subscriber. Re-subscribing these portfolios was like bringing back old friends,” said SOL VISTA CEO and Co-founder Shannon Sentman. “Our aim in 2019 and beyond is ensuring maximum value for every subscriber.”
