“We are excited to have Dina Manzo at our showroom to meet our customers and to help raise awareness for the organization she founded, Project Ladybug. I can think of no greater cause than to help young children in need and I admire Ms. Manzo for her tireless efforts and support to the children and families Project Ladybug provides relief to.” States Gary Shiman of Somerville Aluminum.
About Dina Manzo
Dina Manzo was one of the original cast members of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.” After appearing on Season 1 and part of Season 2, Dina took a break from Bravo. She took advantage of this quality time to focus on her daughter Lexi, to grow Project Ladybug, and to enjoy two seasons of her own show on HGTV called Dina's Party. She returns to Bravo with renewed enthusiasm, a desire to share her personal growth, and a hope that others will be inspired to start, or continue, their own journey.
Motherhood and her passion for philanthropy inspired her to proudly found Project Ladybug, a 501c3 non-profit organization. Dina also has great love for the care and protection of animals. Her two-legged rescue pup, Gracie, inspires her each day to be a dedicated advocate for animal adoption and rescue.
About Project Ladybug
Founded by Manzo in 2007, Project Ladybug is a qualified 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt non-profit organization dedicated to easing the struggles of childhood cancer by providing financial and emotional support to children and their families undergoing rigorous medical treatments. To date, Project Ladybug has raised over one million dollars to help children with cancer.
