Team Vinci Wishes Luck to Joakim Soria and the Detroit Tigers

The Detroit Tigers have agreed to acquire reliever Joakim Soria from the Texas Rangers. Soria is the top Mexican closer in MLB history. It is not yet decided if he will be used in set up or as a closer for the Tigers. He saved 17 of 19 chance and has a 2.70 ERA this season with with the Rangers. The two-time All-Star also owns a 10.50 strikeout-to-walk ratio, which ranks second among all American League relievers.
The 30-year-old right-hander is 16-for-17 in save chances this year and carries a 2.67 ERA, 0.79 WHIP and 40 strikeouts in 301⁄3 innings.
Soria pitched for the Kansas City Royals from 2007-11, recording 160 saves in that span.
