These stories are not for entertainment only. Every story has a message. These are not based on mindless topics.
MUMBAI, India (PRWEB) March 09, 2016
While working for various companies, Sourav Sarkar was able to travel around India and stay in various parts of the country. He came across all kinds of people from differing cultural backgrounds. These experiences shaped “BEYOND THE LINE: Short Stories” (published by Partridge India), Sarkar’s debut collection of short stories.
The title story explores the struggles of tribal life and the keen desire for progress. Other stories narrate confrontations of the mind, negotiations about killing humanity for survival of vested interests, and the manipulation of love and war to lead life with color.
“These stories are not for entertainment only. Every story has a message. These are not based on mindless topics,” Sarkar says. “Through this book I want to reach mass for a change. I am not promoting or criticizing any political ideology. What I have seen I am talking about that. I feel world is beautiful and let people live here with peace. Let the world be free from poverty, starvation, illiteracy.”
