Meier will be responsible for the Strategic Global Product and Supplier Management. He will also work closely with the other brands of Sourceability: Sourcengine, Surcle.io, and The Burn-In.
He joins the Sourceability team from Avnet where he served as Senior VP of Global Procurement. Avnet is one of the leading semiconductor distributors worldwide. During his tenure at Avnet, Meier led his team to build and maintain solid relationships with suppliers and key manufacturers.
Meier also brings 30+ years of experience in supply chain management across Europe. He held several management positions at EBV Elektronik, an Avnet subsidiary and a leader in semiconductor distribution in Europe. While there, he was instrumental in increasing annual revenues and market share, marking EBV as one of the top distributors for suppliers in commodities.
