Southeast Asian Global Martial Arts "SEAGMA" Festival Announces 2020 Festival Dates for Irvine, CA Event

The SEAGMA Festival will return to Irvine, CA May 1st – 4th, 2020 in Irvine, CA.

Martial arts masters representing multiple schools and disciplines traveled to Southern California from around the United States offering attendees a weekend of demonstrations, training and clinics, community, and remembrance of past masters.

The inaugural South East Asian Global Martial Arts (SEAGMA) Festival took place May 3rd -5th, 2019 in Irvine, CA. Martial arts masters representing multiple schools and disciplines traveled to Southern California from around the United States offering attendees a weekend of demonstrations, training and clinics, community, and remembrance of past masters.

“The First SEAGMA Fest was a huge success! This was the first time all of these masters have come together in one place. Everyone is already planning for our next festival” shared Festival Founder and Director Jim Brown.

The festival was presented by Pentjak Silat USA, in association with the International Pencak Silat Federation, with support from SOG Specialty Knives and Tools and Film Festival Flix, host of the exclusive SEAGMA streaming video Channel.

Representing Attending masters included: Guru Besar Hans Knust-Graichen, Guru Besar Frank Den Daas, Guro Willie B. Laureano, Suru Jason Inay, Guru Besar Scott Soble, Guru Daniel Prasetya, and Guru Tua Conrad Bui. A special interview with Guro Dan Inosanto was presented Friday night. The masters went to Disney Land on Sunday in remembrance of Dr. Andre Knust-Graichen (1954-2018).
