The South Shore Business Improvement District (BID) announced today its plans for a free three-town “Family Day” on June 6th with activities in the commercial strips in Eltingville, Annadale and Great Kills. Running from noon to 5:00 p.m., the event will feature rides and games for children along with balloon artists and live DJ at each location.

“Events like this are a prime example of what the South Shore BID was set up for,” said Councilman and Minority Leader Vincent Ignizio. “These events are designed to drive traffic to the towns and ultimately the businesses that reside there.”

The event is sponsored by Councilman Vincent Ignizio, Richmond County Savings Foundation and Staten Island Economic Development Corporation. It is also the first event under the auspices of the newly formed South Shore BID.

"SIEDC is excited to once again be involved with the South Shore Family Day event,” said Steven Grillo, First Vice President of the SIEDC. “This year's event is of special significance because the South Shore BID was signed into law by Mayor de Blasio in April, and we are looking forward to many more events like this in the future to benefit the businesses and property owners within the BID.”

The daylong festivities will run simultaneously in the towns of Annadale, Eltingville, and Great Kills at the following locations:
Annadale: 820 Annadale Road in the Richmond County Savings Bank parking lot
Great Kills: At the train station at the foot of Brower court
Eltingville: 4523 Amboy Road in the Richmond County Savings Bank parking lot

“It’s all about highlighting the beauty of the South Shore and the small businesses that reside there,” said Anthony Rapacciuolo of PRcision LLC, the event’s coordinator. “We encourage everyone to visit all three locations and while they are there check out what each of the towns have to offer.”

This event is free to the public and all are invited to attend. For more information please visit or call Anthony Rapacciuolo of PRcision LLC at (718) 490-5023.
