Chicago Private Money Experts Discuss Real Estate Investing, Rehabbing And Flipping
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) November 03, 2013 -- Southside Builders Association is excited to host a panel of Private Money Experts moderated by Michael Hobbs on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 11:30am. Southside Builders Association regularly provides timely and informative monthly education and networking sessions over lunch in Greektown.
Given the current restricted real estate lending environment, the November lunch features a panel of experts who will discuss how private money, both debt and equity, can contribute to getting your deals done in this economic environment. They will explain how private money can be utilized to bridge the gap left by the retraction of traditional funding sources (such as banks and mortgage lenders) and will provide insight into which sort of projects are best suited for private money. The experts will share their views on the kinds of terms, provisions, and underwriting considerations, a client should commonly expect when working with a private money source of debt and equity. Since many real estate investors are not familiar with the process of hard money lending, this is a timely topic.
In today's environment, where Wall Street banks and money-center banks are still hesitant, if not resistant, to lend money to real estate investors and entrepreneurs, how can a real estate investor grow and thrive in this competitive environment? One possibility is to work with local lending institutions who cater to real estate entrepreneurs and another possibility is to work with private lenders. Private lenders come in all shapes and sizes and can employ creative techniques to allow a real estate investor a means to achieve their goals.
Many members of the Southside Builders Assocation will agree that there is always money available for a good deal. Yet more importantly, the biggest loss occurs when the deal didn't get done because someone didn’t want to pay for available money to close the deal and secure their profit. Don't lose out on your next great deal!
