Spectrum Weather and Specialty Insurance, Inc., the leading domestic broker of rain insurance, snow insurance, event cancellation insurance, and other event-related insurance products, is a blue ribbon sponsor of the annual International Association of Fairs and Expositions’ Zone Five meeting, to be held in Des Moines, Iowa, March 6-8, 2015. Members of the host organization consist of fairs, festivals, and other events in the states of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. In addition to the sponsorship commitment, Spectrum’s President, Robert Holmes will be in attendance for the entire duration of the three-day event. This convention will mark the second year in which a representative from Spectrum has attended.
“We come to these events to educate fair and festival board and committee members about the rain insurance, weather insurance, and event cancellation insurance solutions available when working with an independent broker that specializes in these types of coverage options”, says Holmes. “There have been new markets and products introduced in recent years, which may not be available through more traditional insurance agents.”
Holmes notes that although event preparation are readiness are essential: “Mother Nature always bats last.”
