MORRISTOWN, N.J. (PRWEB) May 24, 2016
Speedwell Design Center is pleased to unveil the Spring 2016 Hunter Douglas Collection. This new collection will be available in-store for customers to view and offers an updated PowerView Motorization feature as well as redesigned Duette honeycomb shades and improved roller shades.
Speedwell Design Center, located in Morristown, N.J., is one of the few Hunter Douglas dealers in the area and offers the largest collections of Hunter Douglas window treatment products in Morris County and the tri-state area. "Our design consultants are trained by Hunter Douglas, so they are really great resources for homeowners who are looking to integrate their window treatments with automated controls," said Barry Kolsky, owner. "These updated products combine style and function for beautiful, customizable window treatments that are highly desirable."
One of the most anticipated additions to the Spring 2016 Hunter Douglas Collection, the PowerView® Motorization feature allows homeowners to raise or lower window treatments using a smart device application or automated operation. By integrating this technology with certain thermostat settings, a homeowner can maximize energy savings. PowerView Motorization is available on many new products including Duette® honeycomb shades, Parkland® wood blinds, EverWood® alternative wood blinds, Modern Precious Metals® aluminum blinds and Silhouette® Duolite window shadings. PowerView Motorization can integrate window treatments with other smart devices and connect them with select home automation systems, creating a whole-home connection and a customized user experience.
Consumers will also find the newly redesigned Duette honeycomb shades at Speedwell Design Center. With a new headrail in the honeycomb shape, flush-mount end caps and a textured matte finish that matches the shade fabric, the Duette shades offer a transitional design that suits many decor styles. The optional dual operation feature, allows users to operate the shades manually or via a remote or app. This feature provides a streamlined motorized shade option for large vertical openings including sliding glass doors and large windows.
Hunter Douglas has also updated their roller shades for their new spring line with many new features. The custom clutch operating system is designed to create an even, minimal light gap on both sides of the shade, providing increased privacy and enhanced light control. Two clutch sizes are designed to accommodate any size of shades. The system features a sleek Standard Bracket, available in many different colors or metallic hues to complement the shade fabric. Roller shades are also now available in performance fabrics to provide better heat regulation and glare protection. Redesigned cassette top treatments give the roller shades an updated, modern appearance.
